ACCOMPANYING THE PRINT:

Petey Duval Rooster is a busker. When he was a little chick, he just loved to put on a show for his family and friends. He would set up rows and rows of folding chairs on the front lawn, hoping to draw a big crowd. But, as an adult, he's long since grown out of adorable, and his ideal performance locales became sidewalks; boardwalks; restaurant patios. People wouldn't give him a chance; detached and disinterested, they scurried past. They were missing out. If they had stopped for one tiny little second, they would have realized that Petey had a beautiful gift, however unexpected and unorthodox.

As time passed, he travelled from town to town, hoping to find home. It took him a while; all the way down to the Florida Keys, in fact, but he got there. The irony is, people from all those little towns along the way now come to visit him. They just love his little show, share his joy and, as these visitors head back home, they go in search of the unexpected gifts in others (and maybe discover one or two in themselves, as well).
